20. Jay Maisel: This famous artist in modern photography is famous for creating such famous and simple works. He never uses light effects and complex camera shots, so the picture always comes out very gritty modern style. For a short biography he was born on January 13th 1931 in Brooklyn, New York. At the age of 21, Jay took great interest in photography. In his early works he was known for taking photos for magazines and storybooks. Thought his life he developed into a more modern approach making very gritty simple pictures, often of color and light. But in more recent works he has decided to take an approach to photographing cities and simple objects.
